About Blount Elementary School

Blount Elementary School is a public elementary school located in the city of Mobile, Alabama. It is part of the Mobile County Public School System and serves students in grades Pre-K through 5th grade. The school was founded in 1885 and is the oldest elementary school in the city. Blount Elementary has a rich history and a strong commitment to academic excellence. The school offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of its diverse student population. These programs include an after-school program, a variety of enrichment classes, and a technology lab. Blount Elementary also has a strong focus on developing character and leadership skills in its students. The school has an active Parent Teacher Association that provides many opportunities for parents to get involved in their child’s education.
