About Oakman Middle School
Oakman Middle School is a public school located in the heart of the city. It is part of the Birmingham City School System and serves students in grades 6-8. Oakman Middle School has a long history of academic excellence, having been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School in 2009. The school offers a rigorous curriculum that includes core classes such as English, Math, Science, and Social Studies as well as elective classes such as Art, Music, and Physical Education. The school also offers a variety of extracurricular activities such as sports, clubs, and after-school programs. Oakman Middle School is committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
