About Shades Valley High School

Shades Valley High School is a public school located in the city of Birmingham, Alabama. It is part of the Jefferson County School System and serves grades 9 through 12. It is one of the oldest high schools in the area, having been established in 1922. The school offers a variety of academic and extracurricular activities for its students.
Shades Valley High School has a strong athletic program, with teams competing in football, basketball, baseball, softball, track and field, tennis, volleyball, and golf. The school also offers a variety of clubs and organizations, such as student council, National Honor Society, and yearbook.
