About Anza Trail

The Anza Trail is a historic route that stretches from Nogales, Arizona to San Francisco, California. It was used by the Spanish explorer Juan Bautista de Anza in 1775-76 to lead a group of settlers from Mexico to California. The Anza Trail is a National Historic Trail, and is part of the National Trails System.
The Anza Trail is a great way to explore the history of the American Southwest. The trail follows the route taken by the Spanish explorer and his party, and passes through some of the most remote and rugged areas of the region. Along the way, visitors can enjoy stunning vistas, visit historical sites, and learn about the cultures of the people who have lived in the area for centuries.
