Tsehootsooi Dine Bi’olta, also known as the Fort Defiance Chapter of the Navajo Nation, is a chapter of the Navajo Nation located in northwestern New Mexico. The chapter was established in 1959, and is home to around 3,500 people.
Tsehootsooi Dine Bi’olta is a rural community that is committed to preserving the traditional Navajo way of life. The chapter is known for its strong ties to traditional Navajo culture, language, and values. The chapter is also home to many important historical sites and landmarks, including the Tsehootsooi Dine Bi’olta Trading Post, the oldest trading post in the Navajo Nation.
The chapter is also home to a number of educational and economic development initiatives, including a Head Start program, a community college, and a number of small businesses. The chapter is also home to a number of cultural and recreational activities, including traditional Navajo ceremonies, powwows, and rodeos.
