About Core Butte Charter

Core Butte Charter School is an innovative public charter school located in Chico, California. Founded in 2009, Core Butte has become a leader in providing an engaging, personalized learning experience for students in grades K-8. Our mission is to provide an engaging and rigorous academic program that meets the needs of all learners.
At Core Butte, we strive to create an environment where learning is meaningful, fun, and engaging. We believe in fostering a spirit of collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking in our students. We provide a variety of learning opportunities, including project-based learning, inquiry-based learning, and technology-based learning. Our teachers use a variety of instructional strategies to ensure that our students are engaged and learning in meaningful ways.
At Core Butte, we also place a strong emphasis on the social and emotional development of our students. We provide a variety of activities and programs to help our students develop the skills they need to succeed in life. We offer a variety of extracurricular activities, such as art, music, and sports, to help our students explore their interests and develop their talents.
