About International School Of Monterey

The International School of Monterey (ISM) is an independent, non-profit, college preparatory school located in Monterey, California. Founded in 1994, ISM is a unique learning community that provides a rigorous and comprehensive education to students from around the world. We offer a challenging academic program that is based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, and our school is authorized by the IB to deliver the Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP), and Diploma Program (DP). ISM is dedicated to providing a learning environment that encourages students to develop their full potential. We strive to provide a curriculum that is both intellectually challenging and engaging, and our teachers are passionate about helping students reach their highest level of academic success. Our faculty and staff are committed to helping students develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful global citizens.
