About King-chavez Community High School

King-Chavez Community High School is an innovative and progressive school located in San Diego, California. Founded in 2002, the school is part of the San Diego Unified School District and serves over 1,400 students from grades nine through twelve.
At King-Chavez, students are encouraged to develop their own unique academic and career paths. Through their personalized learning plans, they are able to explore their interests and passions while developing the skills to become successful in college and beyond. The school also offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports teams, clubs, and student organizations.
The faculty and staff at King-Chavez are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. Through rigorous academics, hands-on learning opportunities, and a supportive environment, students are able to develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in life.
