L.A. County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) is a unique and innovative public school located in Los Angeles, California. It is the only public school in the United States that offers a comprehensive arts curriculum, and is one of the few public high schools in the country to offer a conservatory-style education.
At LACHSA, students can choose from a variety of disciplines, including music, theater, dance, visual arts, and design. Students have the opportunity to work with professional artists and teachers in their chosen field of study. The school also offers a rigorous academic curriculum that includes honors and Advanced Placement classes.
The school’s mission is to provide an educational environment that encourages creative expression, collaboration, and exploration of the arts. Students are encouraged to express themselves through their art and to develop their artistic and academic potential.
