Monterey County Special Education is committed to providing a comprehensive, quality education to students with disabilities. The county provides a variety of services to meet the individual needs of students, including special education classes, related services, and support services. The county also provides a variety of resources to families, such as parent education and support, transition services, and community resources.
Monterey County Special Education is dedicated to providing an individualized education plan (IEP) for each student that meets their unique needs. The IEP includes goals and objectives for the student, as well as services and accommodations that are necessary for their success. The IEP team meets regularly to review the student’s progress and make any necessary changes to the plan.
Monterey County Special Education also provides a variety of resources to families, such as parent education and support, transition services, and community resources. The county also offers a variety of programs and services to ensure the success of students with disabilities, such as alternative education, after-school programs, and vocational training.
