About Six Rivers Charter High School

Six Rivers Charter High School is an innovative public charter school located in Humboldt County, California. Founded in 2002, Six Rivers offers a unique educational experience for students in grades 9-12. The school embraces a personalized learning approach that emphasizes student-directed learning and self-advocacy.
Six Rivers offers a variety of courses in the humanities, sciences, and the arts, as well as a number of electives. The school also offers an extensive college-preparatory program, including Advanced Placement courses, the International Baccalaureate program, and Dual Enrollment with local colleges and universities.
In addition to its rigorous academic program, Six Rivers also offers a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs, including athletics, debate, and theater. The school also provides a number of opportunities for students to get involved in their community, including volunteer projects and internships.
