About Sutter County Special Education

Sutter County Special Education is dedicated to providing a comprehensive and quality education for all students with special needs. The department offers a variety of services to meet the unique needs of each student, including individualized instruction, specialized instruction, and support services. The staff is committed to helping students reach their highest potential in a safe, nurturing environment.
Sutter County Special Education provides a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of students with disabilities. These include an early childhood program for children ages three to five, a transition program for students ages 14-21, and a special education program for students ages three to 21. In addition, the department offers a variety of support services, such as speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.
The department also works to ensure that all students have access to a quality education. The staff provides support to families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure that each student is receiving the best possible education. They also collaborate with outside agencies to provide additional resources and support.
